I am a writer, photographer, and collage artist.  I collect and cut images that I find intriguing, provocative, visually stunning (or disturbing, or harmonizing),  etc. As the paper world closes down in favor of digitalized everything, I am more and more drawn to these pentimenti ,  time capsules that evoke and echo. This narrative collage suggests what each woman in a remote "present" might be remembering, at a different time, each in her own head and with her own reckoning.

After a career as a writer of poetry, fiction, plays, and nonfiction, I've recently turned to collage as an antidote to words. I work to create visual records, digesting and combining the life and times and images that have brought us here, to this perishable instant.
