One of them was the thinnest and tallest son of the Gong family, who could supposedly see ghosts and even boss them around in broad daylight. Another was known as Big Zhou from a neighboring village, a super guy believed to be able to roam and collect lotus pods on the water surface of the Jade Lake. Needless to say, such feats sounded extremely fascinating to me...
