"I’m lucky enough to live next to Longwood Gardens, in Kennett Square, PA, one of North America’s great gardens. Every year I see that people there take thousands of photographs of flowers, and that’s convinced me that nothing original can be done with straightforward photographs of flowers. So, I thought, what if I took photographs of flowers, and then processed them, so that they were no longer photographs, but virtual images? That’s what I did, and I Iook forward to getting your response to them."
