"There is no question that the artist, be he/she, a photographer, painter, musician, etc. has a very special connection with the object which inspires him/her. It is a special relationship which, I believe is, his/her responsibility to convey to an audience. The piece created is a testimony to this exchange and it insures that it will never be forgotten. After years of expressing this tie to a subject-matter, the collection of pieces in fact becomes sort of autobiographical statement for the author, his/her life story in the product of his/her art. All the photographs in this small number attest specifically to this. They are not just snapshots of a scene, rather they are a most intimate message as to a state of mind, a quest for fulfillment."
