Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15th, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia, and he was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee on April 4th, 1968. As an important member of the Civil Rights movement, he fought for justice and equality. Below is one of his most famous speeches, "I Have a Dream," delivered on August 28th,1963, where he addressed over 250,000 people on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.
