“Whether I’m out in nature or on a city street, my intent whenever I pick up my camera is to see the extraordinary in the ordinary; the magic in the mundane; the beauty in the bland--and the wonder in all that surrounds me. I believe that each of us can sprinkle a little magic wherever we go in this world. And it is my goal is to sprinkle a little magic with every photo I create.”

Photography has been Cheryl’s love, her passion since she was 14 years old. She fell in love with the art of photography before she even owned her first camera, a mint green Official Girl Scout Camera. What made it official? Who knows? But she loved it still the same because it made pictures—tiny little perfect black-and-white pictures. The years went by and Cheryl came to own many cameras—some sweet and simple, others pricey and complex. And here’s what she knows to be true: It’s not your camera that makes a wonderful photo. And it’s not even what you see—it’s how you see it.
Cheryl is located in McCloud, California, a quaint little town nestled at the base of majestic Mt. Shasta. While McCloud is considered a town that is a step back in time, its boundless beauty and vistas are truly a timeless gift from Mother Nature. And she is reminded every day that there is no time to be bored in a world as beautiful as this.
